Zrealizowany w latach 1988-1991 według projektu Imre Makovecza, najwybitniejszego węgierskiego twórcy architektury organicznej. Świątynia ma 361 m.kw. i może pomieścić 300 wiernych. Postawiona jest na planie dwóch, odbitych lustrzanie liter „S”, co według słów samego Makovecza ma odnosić się do „kontrastu światła i ciemności, mężczyzny i kobiety, Słońca i Księżyca”. Dlatego, po przeciwnych stronach kościoła stoją rzeźby anioła jasności i anioła ciemności, a na dachu – symetrycznie względem głównej wieży z krzyżem – wieżyczki ze Słońcem i Księżycem. Kościół powstał dzięki publicznej zbiórce i pracy społecznej mieszkańców Paks.

Church of the Holy Spirit in Paks. Built in 1988-1991 according to the design of Imre Makovecz, the most outstanding Hungarian creator of organic architecture. The temple is 361 square meters and can accommodate 300 worshippers. It is built on the plan of two mirrored letters „S”, which, according to Makovecz himself, refers to „the contrast of light and darkness, man and woman, the Sun and the Moon”. Therefore, on opposite sides of the church there are sculptures of an angel of lightness and an angel of darkness, and on the roof – symmetrically in relation to the main tower with a cross – towers with the Sun and the Moon. The church was built thanks to public collection and social work of the inhabitants of Paks.
