Hotel wybudowany w latach 1952-1957 w stylu socrealistycznym, którego projektantem był František Jeřábek. Posiada 278 pokoi, ma 88 metrów wysokości i jest najwyższym stalinowskim obiektem w Pradze. Po 1989 roku był własnością różnych sieci hotelowych, m.in. Holiday Inn i Crowne Plaza. Osatecznie jego właścicielem (2023) została sieć Czech Inn Hotels. Obecnie funkcjonuje pod nazwą Grand Hotel International Prague (wcześniej: Hotel Družba , Hotel Čedok). Na szczycie iglicy budynku zachowała się 5-ramienna gwiazda, kiedyś czerwona, teraz złota. W 2000 roku hotel został wpisany na czeską listę zabytków kultury.

The hotel was built in the years 1952-1957 in the socialist realist style, designed by František Jeřábek. It has 278 rooms, is 88 meters high and is the tallest Stalinist building in Prague. After 1989, it was owned by various hotel chains, including: Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza. Ultimately, its owner (2023) became the Czech Inn Hotels chain. Currently, it operates under the name Grand Hotel International Prague (formerly: Hotel Družba, Hotel Čedok). At the top of the building’s spire there is a 5-pointed star, once red, now gold. In 2000, the hotel was included on the Czech list of cultural monuments.
