Wybudowany w latach 1971-1981 według projektu Very Machoninovej. Uważany za najciekawszy obiekt czeskiej architektury brutalistycznej. Z zewnątrz wyłożony panelami Atmofix – opatentowaną w Czechosłowacji blachą, która szybko pokrywa się cienką warstwą odpornej na warunki atmosferyczne rdzy i chroni konstrukcję przed dalszą, głęboką korozją. W środku dominuje głęboka czerwień drewnianej okładziny, którą zastosowano na suficie głównego holu i balustradach schodów. Machoninova (wraz z mężem) jest również projektantką, zlokalizowanego w centrum Pragi modernistycznego domu towarowego Kotva.

Built in 1971-1981 according to the design of Vera Machoninova. Considered the most interesting object of Czech brutalist architecture. The exterior is lined with Atmofix panels – a metal sheet patented in Czechoslovakia that quickly becomes covered with a thin layer of weather-resistant rust and protects the structure against further, deep corrosion. The interior is dominated by the deep red of the wooden cladding used on the ceiling of the main hall and the staircase balustrades. Machoninova (together with her husband) is also the designer of the modernist Kotva department store located in the center of Prague.
